The artist is painting a "family portrait" of over a hundred people in Bangkok's art scene _ artists, curators, critics, collectors, gallery owners and professors _ the "inside" people, his people, his own troop. Tawan's current exhibition, "Tii Tai Krua" at Chulalongkorn University's Art Centre continues his preoccupation with the concept of the individual masked by the facade of uniforms imposed by society, a subject he tackled in his previous solo exhibition, "Uniform/Uniformity" in 2009.
