» The State Railway of Thailand (SRT) is not to blame for the rape and murder of Nong Kaem for hiring her alleged killer. A lack of CCTV cameras and on-duty train police are not the reasons she died. Alcohol and drugs consumed by the man police say confessed to the crime, Wanchai Saengkhao, did not kill her. Her elder sister, who expressed feelings of responsibility, is not at fault.
