IT project encourages student self-improvement

» Students from less privileged schools in the border areas had an opportunity to showcase their talents in computer programming at last weekend's Show & Share event. The 210 students and novice monks from 22 schools — all situated in remote and rural towns — received training as part of an IT project initiated by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.

We have not heard whether the government has done any assessment of the project after over 800,000 tablets were distributed nationwide to Prathom 1 students last year.
