» Mr. Amorn Sapthaweekul, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Energy Absolute PCL or EA, disclosed that the Company would like to clarify various issues that groups of people are attempting to mislead investors about the Company. Starting with power plant projects in the Nakhon Sawan and Lampang provinces, the Nakhon Sawan power plant project had a capacity of 126.126 megawatts (MW) and a total project value of 6,654 million baht, resulting in an investment value of 57.75 million baht per megawatt. While the Lampang power plant project had a capacity of 128.396 megawatts (MW) and a total project value of 8,274 million baht, resulting in an investment value was 64.45 million baht per megawatt. Both projects proceed in accordance with the rules and regulations, and Project Finance is used of fund of the project. Therefore, a consulting firm has chosen to assist in the verification before the control of money disbursement to be paid directly to the EPC. The cost of investment per megawatt was precise and verifiable, according to the Company. Furthermore, when comparing the investment cost in the construction of the Company's power plants during the same period in 2013, some projects were worth 80 million baht per megawatt. As a result, it shows that the Company has an appropriate investment cost per megawatt.
