Thai Project Empowers Agriculture with Drone Technology

» MDES and depa have introduced the 1 Tambon 1 Digital (Chumchon Drone Jai) Project, with the aim of enriching knowledge, understanding, and practical skills related to drones for agricultural use among communities and farmers across Thailand. This initiative also envisions the conversion of conventional businesses into centres offering drone-based agricultural services. Anticipating the establishment of 50 service centres nationwide within a year, this project is set to enable 500 communities to integrate drones into their agricultural practices, generating an economic value exceeding 350 million baht. Crucially, the 1 Tambon 1 Digital (Chumchon Drone Jai) Project aligns with Thailand's competitiveness goals under the Growth Engine of Thailand policy.

Pattaya Group Announces Launch of "PATTAYA Airways"

» PATTAYA Group, a well-known and established entity in the aviation industry, has launched "PATTAYA Airways" to cater to international air cargo services. This move aligns with the growth trends in the logistics and e-commerce sectors, ensuring the provision of contemporary and efficient air transport in the region. The airline is led by Mr. Tosaporn Asunee, Chairman of the PATTAYA Group, and Mr. Nat Boonyavichkanont, Chief Executive Officer. They received the Air Operating License (AOL) from the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand on September 18, 2023, and plan to commence operations in the fourth quarter of 2024.
