Even for a non-drinker like me, a glass of Cuba Libre (Free Cuba), a mix of rum, Coke and lime, seemed to have unlocked a new door of endless possibilities. Soon I found myself clapping hands along with those dark-skinned dancers engaging in the colourful orgy of salsa up on the stage right in front of us.
