Thailand Marks World Contraception Day with Youth Campaign

» The Bureau of Reproductive Health, Department of Health, Ministry of Public Health, in collaboration with the Planned Parenthood Association of Thailand under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Srinagarindra, and Bayer Thai Co., Ltd., is launching a campaign to celebrate the World Contraception Day 2024, which falls on September 26 each year. This year’s theme is "Empowering Choices, One Decision at a Time," aimed at creating knowledge about effective contraception to enable the younger generation to make informed decisions and shape their futures, thereby reducing the incidence of unintended pregnancies in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

TRIUP Fair 2024 Unites Sectors to Drive Innovation

» Thailand Science Research and Innovation (TSRI), in collaboration with nine Programme Management Units (PMUs) and network partners in the Science, Research, and Innovation System, has joined forces with the Federation of Thai Industries (F.T.I.), the Thai Chamber of Commerce, and the Board of Trade of Thailand to organise the “Thailand Research and Innovation Utilisation Promotion Fair 2024 (TRIUP FAIR 2024).” The event, held from 24th to 26th September 2024, at Royal Paragon Hall, 5th floor, Siam Paragon, aims to promote the practical application of Thai research and innovation. This initiative is expected to enhance industrial capabilities, generate income, and strengthen the nation’s economic security. The event was inaugurated by Ms. Supamas Isarabhakdi, Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), along with the Permanent Secretary of MHESI, the Director of TSRI, the President of F.T.I., a representative from the Thai Chamber of Commerce and the Board of Trade of Thailand, and executives from various organisations.
