Siam Paragon and Culture Ministry Honour Queen Sirikit

» The Ministry of Culture, in collaboration with Siam Paragon, is organising "Praepastra Boromarajininath" to commemorate Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother's birthday anniversary on 12 August 2024. The event is taking place from 12–18 August 2024, at Parc Paragon, M Floor, Siam Paragon, and features a variety of activities, including an exhibition on Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother’s dedication to preserving Thai art and craft. It also showcases traditional Thai costumes, Thai cultural performances such as youth Khon performances, folk performances, fashion shows highlighting contemporary Thai fabrics, and the sale of Thai cultural products (CPOT). Visitors will also have the opportunity to shop for creative Thai crafts at the ICONCRAFT pop-up, located on the 1st floor of Siam Paragon, from 10–31 August 2024.

Coca-Cola Expands "Recycle Me" Campaign with New Initiatives

» The Coca-Cola system in Thailand, comprising ThaiNamthip Corporation Limited, HaadThip plc, and Coca-Cola (Thailand) Ltd., in collaboration with the key partner Trash Lucky Co., Ltd., has scaled up the fourth consecutive year of the ‘‘Coke Recycle Me with Trash Lucky” campaign. This year’s campaign features extended partnerships with existing and new retail partners for drop-off locations, recycling partners, and prize sponsors, resulting in a total of more than 80 drop-off locations across Bangkok, Nonthaburi, Pathum Thani, Phuket, and Songkhla. This year’s campaign aims to promote activities in universities with prizes including an electric car and IT gadgets as monthly prizes, totalling more than 4,400 prizes worth over 2 million baht. Additionally, participants can earn quick rewards through point redemption for special ‘Coca-Cola’ limited edition premiums and LINE MAN RIDE discounts for consumers to transport recycling materials to drop-off locations.

Evergreen Symphony Orchestra Debuts in Thailand

» After a hiatus from international touring due to the impact of the pandemic, the Evergreen Symphony Orchestra (ESO) has made a triumphant return. On Saturday, 18th May at the Thailand Cultural Centre in Bangkok, the orchestra performed its first concert abroad in several years. This exclusive event reached its maximum capacity of 1600 seats, as the orchestra shared some of the world’s most beautiful music with distinguished guests.
