Maximum overload

Oped, Postbag, Published on 05/02/2022

» Re: "Fertility rate too low," (Editorial, Jan 31). It is disappointing to see the Post jumping on the bandwagon of pundits who advocate government action to increase the birth rate in order to boost the economy, while ignoring the larger context of a planet suffering from the ecological effects of too many people.

Conjugal confusion

» Re: "Thamanat's fortunes dip", (BP, Dec 29). I see from our "flour" ex-minister Thamanat's asset declaration that he has not one but two wives, evidently living in harmony, as evidenced by their two children. Not a republic fan

Oped, Postbag, Published on 17/12/2020

My last sentence clearly states that to achieve the protester aims they should stick to reform. That includes the lese majeste law surely. Nothing to do with becoming a republic.

An 'abominable' act

Oped, Postbag, Published on 25/07/2020

» In dropping charges against Vorayuth "Boss" Yoovidhya, the Thai police and the Thai government have once again boldly revealed their corrupt souls. Absent shame or mitigating circumstances they have defined their version of justice, integrity and dictatorial rule by law in this abominable decision.
