» BMW M, or to give its full official name, BMW M GMBH, the specialist tuning arm of BMW, started out with just a handful of enthusiastic employees who happened to know a thing or two about getting the most out of a BMW. Responsible for creating some of the world's most sought-after performance cars, BMW M was originally set up in the early 70s to facilitate BMW's motorsport programme.
