» Anyone familiar with the Premier League will be used to seeing 11 child mascots running out with each team every weekend. It's kind of nice to witness the different reactions of the kids, especially the younger ones, as they briefly find themselves in the limelight, holding hands with their heroes. Mind you, some of the players look a little uncomfortable with the whole procedure.
Behind the closed doors is all rather sad

» Watching the Barcelona game against Las Palmas last Sunday being played behind closed doors was a most peculiar experience. The whole thing was totally surreal as these highly-paid players performed in an empty stadium, usually patronised by 99,000 screaming fans. Millions of course watched it on TV, but the only people inside the normally heaving Camp Nou were team and stadium officials.
