» Re: "Gender woes in sports", (PostBag, Aug 4). Miro King, in support of real women, is right to be upset about the Olympic boxing matches. There seems to be unfairness in the match between Angela Carini and Imane Khelif, who was born a woman, albeit with male-genetic XY chromosomes.

Oped, Postbag, Published on 26/04/2022

OPINION

Morally untenable

Oped, Postbag, Published on 26/10/2019

» Re: “Not child’s play”, (PostBag, Oct 25). Unfortunately, in his efforts to defend the indefensible, Vint Chavala falls into a common corruption of those whose position is intellectually and morally untenable. He has either not read Yuval Noah Harari’s excellent books, merely copying what others have said about them, or he has failed to understand what Harari says, or he has committed a more serious moral and intellectual sin.

OPINION

Graft a 'human trait'

News, Postbag, Published on 15/01/2018

» Re: "Defeating democracy," (PostBag, Jan 13). Felix Qui seems to believe that democracy is the solution to all problems of inequality and that once a democratically elected government is put in place corruption automatically vanishes.
