» It is not often that one finds oneself in the Swiss Alps, but in case you do, I have you covered. A comfortable train ride from Zurich Airport, a quick change at Chur and I find myself aboard a train on a Unesco World heritage ride through the Swiss Alps enroute to St Mortiz. Though Cresta Palace is one stop before the last, St Moritz, at Celerina, it is a mere five-minute drive to the swank alpine resort town.

» We all complain about the rising prices of flights, domestic and international. Koh Samui being one of the places where the airfare has slowed tourism post-Covid. Yet, it is worth every penny once you get there. Especially if you stay at Explorar Resorts, which is on Mae Nam Beach.

» I would not be lying if I said I enjoyed the lack of foreign tourists in the last two years, and that is simply because it made holiday islands like Samui more accessible to domestic tourists like me. Though this may be at the detriment of the resorts and other businesses on the island. Koh Samui, with its vast stretches of beaches and pristine turquoise waters, is no stranger to luxury resorts, W Samui on Mae Nam Beach being one of them.
