» Today is the first day of Songkran and we know what you're thinking: "Where should I celebrate the Thai New Year for some fun-soaked festivities?". There are tonnes of places where you can spray water and dab some scented powder on to others, or if staying dry is your thing, there are events dedicated to that, too. Songkran doesn't have to be just attending the countless EDM parties during these busy days (you can check a handful of them in the parties section of listings), these events are can be enjoyed by just about anybody. So grab your water guns and don some waterproof clothes (or why not don some traditional Thai outfits as that's what's all the rage this year), wannee pen wan Songkran!

» Artist, illustrator and musician, Peera Suk-a-sa, better known as Clubpopp, has designed various artwork for installations and album covers in his signature retro pop art style. His latest project, "Escape X Clubpopp", a collaboration with Escape Hotels in Hua Hin and Khao Yai, aims to turn the resorts into a hip and vibrant destination inspired by pop culture of the 80s, by installing modern pop art in and around them. » Concerts are awesome. Here at Guru, we have been to a fair amount of live shows of our favourite artists and bands, despite the ridiculously expensive tickets. And with every concert we attend, we see and meet the same kind of people. From the fans that seem to know the lyrics of every song to the ones who just can't seem to put their phones down as they record every moment of the show. We took the time to list our favourite (or for some, least favourite) types of concertgoers in Thailand. All in good fun.
