» It has been four years since Netflix released the Fear Street trilogy -- three interconnected slasher films that mixed 80s nostalgia, supernatural lore and time-hopping ambition. The movies came out during a period when anything evoking retro aesthetics, especially the 1980s, like Stranger Things, practically guaranteed success. Though far from perfect, the original Fear Street trilogy had its own pulpy charm, especially in the way it linked three different time periods together into one cohesive and mysterious narrative.

» Why do many people seem to be fascinated by true crime stories, especially when it's about the lives of serial killers? I guess it's a morbid curiosity. As human nature, we keep wanting to watch these documentaries and movies. It's not because people enjoy watching horrific stuff, but we're trying to wrap our minds around how a person can be capable of doing something so dark and sinister.

» Due to the pandemic's lasting impact, the release date in Thailand for the highly-anticipated third instalment in The Conjuring franchise, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, was delayed several times. Originally meant to hit theatres last year, the film was postponed several times before finding a new date earlier this month. Now that Thai cinemas outside Bangkok are allowed to reopen, The Devil Made Me Do It is playing on the big screen and it will eventually be streamed on HBO GO as well.
