» I usually have a soft spot for Scandinavian thrillers. Oftentimes, they're so unique and interesting that Hollywood ends up remaking them -- like The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo (2009) or The Hunt (2012). There's a kind of slow-burning tension and cold realism to them that you don't always get in American shows. However, while that's usually the case, I have to say that The Glass Dome, the new six-episode Netflix series, doesn't quite measure up -- even though it has potential.
Bold and intoxicating

» Due to the pandemic's lasting impact, the release date in Thailand for the highly-anticipated third instalment in The Conjuring franchise, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, was delayed several times. Originally meant to hit theatres last year, the film was postponed several times before finding a new date earlier this month. Now that Thai cinemas outside Bangkok are allowed to reopen, The Devil Made Me Do It is playing on the big screen and it will eventually be streamed on HBO GO as well.
The patience test

» Stress and anxiety could happen to anyone on any day and under any circumstances. Anyone who lives in the big city would probably know that by heart. As in a familiar scenario, you may start the day arguing with a family member, or your boss complains about your performance at work. Not to mention spending half of each day behind the wheel, fighting your way through heavy rush-hour gridlock and the heat of the day, these types of things really test your patience.

» Notre Dame de Paris, also called Notre Dame Cathedral, is one of the most famous Gothic cathedrals of the Middle Ages and is distinguished for its size as well as architectural and antiquity interest. So when the fire broke on April 15 and destroyed the spire and most parts of the roof of the 850-year-old church, not only was the building structure devastated but so was the spirit of people the world over who grieved over the near destruction of an important church in the heart of Paris.
