» Looking at reviews and comments online recently, it seems that some people were put off after they found out that You Are So Not Invited To My Bat Mitzvah, the latest instalment from Happy Madison studio, isn't exactly an Adam Sandler movie. It's actually an entire Adam Sandler family movie. In addition to the comedian, his wife Jackie and daughters Sadie and Sunny are also in this.

» As we get closer to October and Halloween, finding spooky movies to watch with the family isn't so easy. But if you're a fan of horror movies and TV shows like Are You Afraid Of The Dark?, The Twilight Zone or Goosebumps, be sure to check out Nightbooks, a new Netflix dark fantasy about a boy imprisoned by an evil witch in her New York City apartment. The film has gone a bit under the radar even though it's produced by renowned filmmaker Sam Raimi. While Nightbooks is certainly not for young audiences, the 12-year-old inside of me would have absolutely enjoyed this movie.

Since Covid-19 is a viral illness, it knows nothing about man-made borders as it leaves doctors and frontline healthcare workers scrambling to contain it. Yet, there's another front in this fight; infectious diseases researchers, also known as virus hunters, who are trying to find viruses before they find us. One such person is American scientist Dr Kendra Phelps, a field researcher and ecologist who stars in an upcoming National Geographic documentary titled Virus Hunters which is set to premiere in Thailand tomorrow.
