Not one for the pups

Life, Tatat Bunnag, Published on 23/08/2025

» If you're constantly flicking through your streaming library looking for a new animated cartoon to watch while feeding your toddler breakfast, don't let the cutesy puppy images of Netflix's newest animated movie Fixed fool you. The content you are about to unleash over the next hour-and-a-half is nothing like the adorable and family-friendly content its posters suggest.

Life, Tatat Bunnag, Published on 15/09/2023

» Kenneth Branagh returns to the director's chair and reprises his role as the iconic Hercule Poirot in A Haunting In Venice, the latest instalment in his series of Agatha Christie adaptations. Set against the backdrop of post-World War II Venice, this film weaves together murder mystery and supernatural elements to create a captivating and fast-paced chiller that keeps audiences engaged from start to finish.

LIFE

A subpar comeback

Life, Tatat Bunnag, Published on 17/02/2023

» Along with popular franchises like Iron Man and Spider-Man, Ant-Man is one of my favourites of all the Marvel Cinematic Universe mainly because the stories are different and focus on family drama that is entertaining, lighthearted and never takes itself too seriously.

LIFE

Family in focus

» The Oscars is coming up soon. And while it should be an exciting time for any film lover, I can't help but feel a bit let down by this year's nominations, especially for the Best Picture category. I didn't particularly like the flashy biopic Elvis and I personally thought Everything Everywhere All At Once was way, way overrated. And I have no clue how Top Gun: Maverick managed to get nominated for best movie of the year. So I had kind of lost interest in this year's awards -- until I recently had a chance to watch another nominee, The Fabelmans, the latest film by Steven Spielberg. Suddenly my interest returned.

LIFE

Moving on from Penny

Life, Tatat Bunnag, Published on 09/12/2020

» Kaley Cuoco has come a long way since her role as Penny, the hot girl next door in hit sitcom The Big Bang Theory. Spanning 12 seasons between 2007 and 2019, The Big Bang Theory was a successful comedy for a whole bunch of reasons. Besides its intellectually stimulating and subtle humour, fans can't deny the fact that Penny's character was one of the most important ingredients that kept the show rolling for over a decade. However, now that the show has ended, Cuoco did not miss a beat to drop a brand new show with a bang of her own.

LIFE

The grand conclusion

Life, Tatat Bunnag, Published on 26/04/2019

» There's no denying that Marvel's superhero films have been big for fans all around the world -- at least since 2007, with 21 films, all connected to one another. Not to mention nearly a dozen television shows, countless tie-in comics and games and merchandising options and viral videos, this so-called Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is the highest-grossing film franchise of all time, having grossed over US$18.6 billion (596.1 billion baht) at the global box office. And the epic adventure has now come to its grand conclusion, with the 22nd film, Avengers: Endgame, and it should satisfy all fans of the series.
