» It's easy to get upset when the movie you've paid tickets for turns out to be not as good as you expected. It's also common to see people get mad when a film adaptation of their favourite novel doesn't do it justice, whether due to plot changes or miscast roles. I mean it's OK if you aren't happy and complain about it to your friends and family. However, don't you think it's a little overboard to go online and slam the movie on social media, or even join in with other angry netizens and start mocking and bullying the actor who portrays the role that you don't approve of?

Archives are historically related to human memory, and film archives, since the mid 20th century, have functioned as guardians and conservators not only of moving images, but also of memories, public and private. Now, the development of digital communication and media technology, such as the proliferation of YouTube, Instagram and TikTok, has turned the internet into a real-time vehicle for human experiences and memories. This has prompted the film archives to ponder their function and respond to new ways images and memories are recorded, stored, accessed and democratised by not any specific entity but by humanity as a whole.

» Can you separate fantasy from reality? A lot of people know that the media has a desensitising effect on people, especially children and teens. Whether it's movies, music or video games, the effect of viewing violence can lead to aggression. Personally, these stories have never been a direct issue with me. When I was younger I always wondered why people wouldn't be able to tell which story should stay in a movie or in our imagination, and which is reality. However, we still see more and more news of violence and regular crimes, which is a direct consequence of watching movies and various media.
