» Who's cutting onions? is a phrase used humorously when someone is crying. Tum Ulit, an artist, cartoonist and storyteller, titled his debut solo exhibition "Who's Cutting Onions?" to express loneliness, sorrow and profound emotions through poignant illustrations. The exhibition's main illustration, Sorry For Making You Cry, depicts an onion in the shape of a human wiping away tears for a female chef who is cutting an onion with a knife in her hand.

» The third edition of Bangkok Art Biennale (BAB) 2022 is set to return from Oct 22 to Feb 23. Under the theme of "Chaos: Calm", BAB will showcase over 200 art pieces by 73 artists from 35 countries at 12 venues in Bangkok including Wat Pho, Wat Arun, the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre, the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, Museum Siam, JWD Art Space and CentralWorld.

» A couple of weeks ago, the Lower House of Parliament in Spain approved a bill to legalise euthanasia and physician-assisted suicide. Prior to that, The Netherlands, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Canada and Colombia had also legalised euthanasia and assisted suicide. In Thailand, euthanasia has been discussed as well but more discussions are scheduled to be held in the future since the country is fast becoming an ageing society.
