» Since June 19, 1999, November has been designated by the government as the month to end violence against women. Despite 24 years of advocacy efforts, Thai women still experience violence every day. To raise awareness and discuss misconceptions regarding sexual violence against women, the Nitivajra Institute at the Attorney General's Office of Thailand recently organised a forum, "Misconceptions And Misunderstandings That Affect Violence Against Sexuality", via Zoom and social media.

» A 20-year-old female influencer, Gigi, and her air force cadet boyfriend Ikkyu were recently found dead in her condominium. A pistol, belonging to Ikkyu's father who is a military general, was discovered next to their bodies. Since only two individuals were present at the crime scene, police believe that Gigi's 19-year-old boyfriend may have shot her and then taken his own life.

But for Wasin Pathomyok and Plengmontra Bubphamas, parents of a two-year-old daughter, they created an A to Z poster using a human rights theme. The idea of the ABC human rights poster came after Wasin and Plengmontra read English children's books such as A Is For Activist, An ABC of Equality and F For Feminism.

» Last month, singer Jamila "Mila" Panpinij posted photos on Instagram of herself in the hospital with bandages wrapped around her head and eye. Two years ago, she was hospitalised because her brother had stabbed her in the head, left eye and ear and upper body. After she recovered, she wanted to report the incident to the police but her family did not want the matter in the news. The 27-year-old also alleged that her brother consumed alcohol and attacked family members before. However, she decided to report the incident two years later because she wanted justice.
