The art of aquascaping

» Drawn by the beauty of underwater nature, many people have been enjoying the Thailand Aquascaping Art Fair. Organised by MMAD MunMun Art Destination, the TAAF as it is known has been taking place for the past three years and offers a cash prize of over 100,000 baht. The competition is divided into two categories -- aquascapes decorated with contestants' own materials; and those created with materials in a blind box provided by the organiser.

» Many people track their life experiences by writing in a diary. As an artist, Isariyabhorn Wanmarat captures moments of her life by snapping photos, taking notes and drawing images with coloured pencils. From her visual diary, Isariyabhorn developed and selected 21 paintings to showcase at her debut solo exhibition "BlueBlurryMonday", which is also her pseudonym. Many of the paintings in the exhibition are memorable moments of her travels in Taipei with her friends. Other paintings include her trip to Nakhon Nayok, her daily life in Satun where she lives and two paintings from scenes in award-winning movies Parasite and Call Me By Your Name.
Showcasing the potential of diversity

» Many people with special needs use art as a tool or "language" to communicate their feelings and experiences through diverse and particular methods. Some of them have strong support from their parents, so they are able to develop their potential and create impressive works. Organised by the Rainbow Room Foundation and Art Connection, an exhibition titled "Language Of The Soul" showcases striking paintings and textile art by six artists with special needs.
