» Artist Pakawan Thongvanit, known as Atelier Pakawan, is recognised for her lovely, detailed illustrations with warm and soothing colours. Both her illustrations and ceramics are influenced by Japanese culture and art techniques because she spent four years in Seto, a city which is renowned for pottery.

» Kornpat Kotchabhakdi used to be an atheist who refused to go to a temple with his parents who are Buddhists. When he became a lifestyle editor of a magazine, he became frustrated due to personal and work issues. To reduce pressure, he tried meditation and to do so properly, Kornpat sought advice from monks who led him to take an interest in amulets and Buddhism.
Naturally talented

» In 2015, 20 visually impaired people participated in the project "Training The Visually Impaired To Write Books", organised by the Book Studies Foundation, the Department of Cultural Promotion, Ratchadamnoen Contemporary Art Center and Butterfly Book. The project aimed to improve visually impaired people's writing skills and let them figure out their own writing styles. When the visually impaired author, Sarocha Kittisiripan, participated in the project, she discovered many talented visually impaired writers and that inspired her to establish Butterfly Book For People With Disabilities.

» At a news writing camp, participant Kotcharak Kaewsurach was told to accompany a disabled person who would drive him to a restaurant. Many questions popped into his head. When Kotcharak arrived at the car, however, he was surprised to see the person move to sit behind the steering wheel, after quickly folding their wheelchair and placing it in the back seat.

» Nikom Tongpitak, a retired teacher, lives in Ubon Ratchathani far from his grandchildren. In order to maintain his relationship with the little ones during the Covid-19 pandemic, the 73-year-old launched a YouTube channel Kuy Kan Lan Pu (translated as Grandpa Chats With Grandchildren) where he hosts the programme with his grandkids.
