» According to the Royal Thai Police, there were 5,164 cases of romance scams with damages of over 1.6 billion baht from online crimes reported between 2022 and 2024. To raise awareness of romance scams, COFACT (Collaborative Fact Checking) organised the forum “Love Or Lie? Exposing Romance Scams on Valentine's Day”.

» Ecological Alert and Recovery Thailand (Earth), a nonprofit organisation, recently revealed the results of a national report titled "Lead In Solvent-Based Paints In Thailand". The study, which tested 55 paint samples from 45 brands sold in the country, revealed that more than 20% of samples had lead levels exceeding 100ppm (the standard set by the Thai Industrial Standards Institute, or TISI). Of these, many also had high lead concentration ranging from 10,000ppm to 64,000ppm.

» As head of the local arts department at Udon Thani Rajabhat University, Asst Prof Kulajit Sengna has researched Isan art and design for 15 years. While creating artefacts inspired by Isan mural art, she felt uncomfortable painting with colours available in the market because they did not match the original paintings. » Since Bali is renowned for its beautiful beaches, upon arriving, our group, consisting of BWH Hotels executives and media representatives, headed straight to view the picturesque sunset at Jimbaran Beach. The beach was scenic with crystal-clear seawater and silky sand. In addition to people strolling along the shore, I observed two cute puppies tirelessly scampering back and forth from the beach to the sea. After capturing many photos of the sunset, we had dinner at a restaurant called Melati Bali, located right by the beach. The seafood was fresh and delectable. The coconut water was bit disappointing because in spite of its impressive size, it was very bland.
