» Born and raised in Songkhla, Narongyot Thongyu liked to collect trash from beaches and turn it into toys in his youth. With those childhood memories in mind, Narongyot has created a collection of hanging sculptures resembling quirky toys, each made from discarded objects such as balls, sandals, helmets and bottle caps likewise collected from beaches.

» At Gallery Ver Project Room, visitors can see projections of 3D chicks walking under a handmade woven coop. While the chicks are walking, various objects -- mobile phones, laptops, cameras, doughnuts, bubble milk tea plastic cups, cars, airplanes, dumbbells and placards -- randomly drop on their heads.

» Traibhumi is a universe in the Thai novel Traibhumi Phra Ruang, which aims to encourage people to not engage in negative behaviour. In Traibhumi, there are several mythical creatures with Garuda, Ratchasee and Giant being the more well-known ones. Artist Konthorn Taecholarn, better known as Hongtae, recreated Traibhumi and its mythical creatures in his exhibition "Creatures Of Triloga". Konthorn, the director of Art of Hongtae, and his team created Triloga from their own interpretations of Traibhumi.

» When Digital Economy and Society Minister Chaiwut Thanakamanusorn said he would explore ways to legalise the sale of e-cigarettes and vaping -- as many other countries have done -- since it poses less risk than conventional smoking, he also mentioned how e-cigarettes being sold online and on the black market damages the local tobacco market, leading to loss of 6 billion baht in income each year. » Ayumi, a Japanese shoe brand for elderly females, provides colourful designs and allows customers to customise their left and right shoe size when ordering. Meanwhile, Denka no Yamaguchi, an electric appliances retailer, offers special services to loyal customers such as feeding pet dogs or watering plants if a customer has to leave town. Ishizaka, a recycling factory, provides its environmentally friendly facilities to customers in order to connect with the community. These successful Japanese brands have a philosophy of offering special services that go beyond the product itself by not focusing only on sales.
