» The Thailand Creative Culture Agency (THACCA) was established as a result of the success of Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA), which develops cultural and entertainment content that can achieve global influence and lead to economic benefits. » Last year, Marisa Srijunpleang, an artist from Surin, created the art exhibition "T360174" which showed how the Khmer Rouge genocide directly and indirectly affected her family. Recently, Marisa created the photo exhibition "Blooms With The Wind Blows", a continuation of her previous work.

» Organised by the Office of Contemporary Art and Culture (OCAC), the third edition of the international contemporary art festival, "Thailand Biennale, Chiang Rai 2023", returns with the theme of "The Open World" from now until April 30. "The Open World" was inspired by the Buddha image in the posture that is called "open world" at Wat Pa Sak in Chiang Saen District.

Now in its third year, the project presents 100 Thais from various fields who have created innovations that play a role in developing society in a sustainable way. This year's theme is sustainable innovation and the project has been launched as a book and a virtual showcase at nia100faces.com.

» Growing up in Surin, the border region between Thailand and Cambodia, Marisa Srijunpleang developed a keen interest in the histories of both countries. However, she noticed that some historical stories were missing from written records. After talking to family members, she was surprised to discover they were survivors of the 1975 Khmer Rouge genocide, and how they had been directly and indirectly affected by the war.

» Nakhon Phanom airport was established during the Vietnam War to facilitate the transportation of supplies and troops for the US military. The airport served as a strategic location for the US Army to access Vietnam by flying over Laos which borders Thailand.
