» Singapore Biennale (SB2022) recently returned for its seventh edition with the name Natasha. The art festival takes place from now to March 19 at 13 locations, such as The Singapore Art Museum at Tanjong Pagar Distripark, Yan Kit Playfield, Singapore Flyer and St. John's and Lazarus Islands.

» Even though Thailand has a good reputation for arts and crafts, its basketry industry has an image of unstylish designs. To encourage the young generation to become interested in arts and crafts, the Sustainable Arts and Crafts Institute of Thailand (Sacit) and JSL Global Media teamed up to launch a reality competition show titled Sacict War Craft on Amarin TV starting Aug 7. In the show, five teams of young designers compete to create weaving product designs. Vachara Vaewuthinand, who is on the board of directors and a production consultant at JSL Global Media, said creating Sacict War Craft was a challenge.

» Red-headed vultures haven't been seen in the wild in Thailand for nearly three decades. However, there are five vultures at Nakhon Ratchasima Zoo and Huai Kha Khaeng Wildlife Breeding Research Station. To breed red-headed vultures and return them to their natural habitat, four organisations -- the Department of National Parks Wildlife Plant Conservation, Zoological Park Organization, Kasetsart University and Seub Nakhasathien Foundation -- have been working on the Thailand Red-Headed Vulture Project.
