Iran retaliated with attacks targeting Israeli military bases as well as US military bases in the Middle East. » In late April, Psi Scott, a Scottish-Thai marine conservationist, along with 36 volunteers set a new record for Southeast Asia in a swimming relay of over 70km, crossing the Andaman Sea to raise awareness about marine conservation and plastic waste reduction. Psi also became the youngest swimmer to establish a new open sea swimming record for Asia -- 50km in two days without equipment.

» Last year, Mintra Chuawangkham, better known as Minton, a young female influencer with 3.5 million followers on TikTok and 1.92 million subscribers on YouTube, revealed in a video that she had been stalked and sexually harassed by a security guard for a year. The security guard also created a fake Facebook account pretending to be her. The fake account defamed the influencer by posting false information about their sexual relationship. He created a fake marriage licence and tried to deceive other people into believing that they were a couple. He also posted many creepy messages which expressed his sexual desire for her on social media.

» To celebrate 190 years of US-Thai diplomatic relations, the art exhibition "Rivers Of Life" has been organised by the US embassy, ICONSIAM and the Chiang Khong community of Chiang Rai. On view at ICONSIAM, the exhibition features two videos -- I See That You Don't See created by Montika Kam-On, a young Thai moving image artist, and A Tale Of Two Rivers created by Alexis Karl, a US filmmaker and perfume artist. Both aim to raise awareness about environmental issues related to the two rivers -- the Mekong and the Mississippi.
