» In 2024, artist Kan Nathiwutthikun, better known as Kan Nathi, experienced living among smoke from wildfires since her house was located near Doi Inthanon in Chiang Mai. After the wildfires were extinguished, Kan asked her assistant to go with her to collect ashes and burnt wood to create artwork. Some of those artworks are now on display at the exhibition "Blueprint of the Apocalypse" at VS Gallery.

» Woraphot Bunkhwamdi is a naturalist with a special interest in the sounds of nature and birds. While he was an undergraduate student at the Faculty of Sciences, Silpakorn University, he was walking on Ao Manao beach in Prachuap Khiri Khan at night and heard the tinkling sound of numerous button top shells being washed up on the shore then pulled back into the sea. The sound of the shells left a lasting impression on him. Woraphot returned to Ao Manao several years later, but never heard that sound again since the numbers of button top shells had decreased. This incident was one of several reasons which encouraged him to record the sounds of nature.

» When Sakarin Krue-On, artist and lecturer at the Faculty of Painting, Sculpture and Graphic Arts, Silpakorn University, was asked to create an artwork for the 2021 exhibition "Art For Air" at Chiang Mai City Arts & Cultural Center, he was struck with the idea of using snow globes.

» Residents of the Mahakan Fort Community were evicted from their homes in 2017 after the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) decided to turn the historic area into a public park. Before everything was torn down, Bangkok Sketcher, a group of artists who draw on location, visited the site to capture the final moments of the community. Three urban sketchers in the group -- Suppachai Vongnoppadondacha, aka Louis Sketcher, Pitirat Yoswattana and Sompong Ngamsangrat -- were overwhelmed to witness the scene and were drawn to the architectural structures that would soon be demolished.

» Riding in a car in mist to the top of world heritage site Mount Fuji, veteran artist Wichet Chantaniyom and his companions felt disappointed because they could not get a glimpse of the spectacular view from the mountain top due to heavy fog. However, after deciding to return to the mountain's foothills, they caught a glimpse of the stunning Mount Fuji.
