» Naraphat Sakarthornsap has been interested in flowers since he was a child. When he was a primary student, he spent a summer break at his aunt's house in Surin. » One of the biggest K-pop stories in December has been the enlistment of the remaining four members of BTS for mandatory military service. On Dec 11, RM, the leader of BTS, and V, the vocalist, began their enlistment. The following day, two other vocalists, Jimin and Jungkook, entered training camps in Yeoncheon together. As the world's biggest boy band goes on hiatus, it will be interesting to see which rival claims the top spot in the absence of BTS.

» When Suga, the rapper and producer of BTS, announced his solo world tour concert, people were surprised because he is not the main vocalist who is the focus of performances. Suga tours under his alias, Agust D, which he has used since he released his solo album in 2016. "The Suga: Agust D Tour 'D-Day'" started in the US 11 days before he began his tour in Asia. Numerous vlogs and videos have revealed his dynamic and impressive performance, but recordings cannot compare to his live show.

» Suga -- BTS member and talented rapper, songwriter, composer and producer in his own right -- has set a release date for his latest solo album. D-Day, under Suga's pseudonym Agust D, will be available from Friday. The 10-track album completes a trilogy that began with Agust D, the performer's self-titled debut album in 2016 which was followed by D-2 in 2020.

» News from Nakhon Pathom in February about an eight-month-old baby, Nong Tor, who was kidnapped while his parents slept, drew the public's attention for weeks. By the end of February, the infant's 17-year-old mother, N*, confessed to police that while bathing Nong Tor she accidentally dropped him, causing him to have infantile spasms. The teenage mother did not know what to do. She later dumped the baby's body in the river. Despite an extensive search of the river by police, rescue officers and volunteers, the body of Nong Tor has not been found. N faces three charges -- causing death by negligence, concealing a corpse and reporting false information to authorities.
