» Those who've been following David Fincher's career for the last 30 years, would know that he's been consistently delivering really slick, stylish genre entertainment. Some may remember him from directing Madonna's music videos back in the early 90s, like Express Yourself and Vogue, or the hit biopic drama The Social Network (2010). But what really set Fincher as one of the most respected filmmakers today was his work oftentimes, in the thriller genre. It's where you really get to see his signature style at play. And along those lines, I'm talking about movies like Seven (1995) Zodiac (2007) Gone Girl (2014) or even some of the best episodes of crime series Mindhunter (2017). Now the director has returned again in the latest Netflix crime thriller The Killer where he reunited with writer Andrew Kevin Walker who penned the screenplay on Seven.

» After reading two books with red-coloured covers -- bell hooks' All About Love and Tara Costello's Red Moon Gang, Chanaradee Chatrakul Na Ayudhya, better known as juli baker and summer, became triggered by issues in the books, including relationships, politics, capitalism and menstruation. In order to convey the messages she perceived in the books, Chanaradee tracked her emotions throughout her 28-day menstruation cycle and transformed them into sketches. Inspired by her daily events, the artist created 29 paintings, one fibreglass sculpture and one animation for her latest exhibition titled "She's Too Much". All rough sketches are displayed at the showcase.

Directed by Matt Ruskin, Boston Strangler stars British actress Keira Knightley in the role of a real-life American reporter tracking a series of killings of women around Boston in the 1960s. The official case of this serial killer, aka the Boston Strangler, remains unsolved to this day, but the gruesome story really shook up things for decades.
