Girl’s bizarre death begs explanation

» Police are investigating the perplexing death of a five-year old girl who reportedly convulsed and died after a dog walked around her, or so the story goes. The girl came to Pattaya from Chonburi with her parents Adisak Srisombat and his wife Kamfang. The couple rented a room, they say, and left their daughter alone for a short time. On their return, they found the 5-year-old dead. Doctors determined that the youngster had had a seizure following a shock. There was no evidence the dog had attacked the girl. The inquiry continues.
Damaged electric wire kills boy

» A nail driven through an electric wire was likely responsible for the death of a four-year-old Cambodian boy. Police said the youngster was playing near a construction site in Soi Nern Plabwan when his friends heard a bang, then spotted Sean Shew on the ground unconscious. The boy had serious burns on his back and feet and was rushed to Banglamung hospital where he later died. Investigators said that the electric wire had been secured to a wooden pole by means of an inch-long nail driven into it.
