» "Today's sedentary lifestyles and physical inactivity are major factors contributing to the prevalence of overweight and obesity in Thailand, both significant risk factors for diabetes. Obesity can increase the risk of type 2 diabetes by over sevenfold, while being overweight triples the risk.
