A musical misfire

» Despite the controversies surrounding Joker (2019) upon release, I found many things to admire about the film. Whether it was the ambitious storytelling, the refreshing take on an iconic DC character, or the homage it paid to Martin Scorsese's classics like Taxi Driver (1976) and The King Of Comedy (1982), there was a lot to appreciate. However, when I heard they were making a sequel to what was supposed to be a standalone film, I had a bad feeling. Now that I've seen Joker: Folie À Deux, I can't say my opinion has changed.

MBK Center and SWU Collaborate for Thai Soft Power

Porsche and Puma Launch 911 Turbo Tribute Sneakers

» Porsche is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the first 911 Turbo with a special highlight for all Porsche enthusiasts: an exclusive series of twelve different sneaker designs, each limited to 911 units per model, in collaboration with sportswear manufacturer Puma. Two models in the sneaker series have historical connections to iconic Porsche models, inspired by their distinctive design elements. The “Turbo No. 1” sneaker is based on the legendary Porsche gifted to Louise Piëch on her 70th birthday, while the “Turbo 930” sneaker honours Dr. Ferry Porsche's Turbo vehicle from 1976.
