» The 2016 Bangkok Chefs Charity Gala Dinner and Auction is set to take place in the Royal Ballroom of the Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok on Monday, July 18. This year’s 10-course gourmet menu is prepared by 21 executive chefs from five-star hotels and one from Thai Airways International. They’ve been working on the 10-course menu in teams of two, except for the sorbet.

» The Tiang Chirathivat Foundation and Central Group recently provided six remote schools with a new library and a community learning centre equipped with books and other learning materials, a hygienic kitchen, clean canteen, as well as clean water and sanitary facilities. This charity work is part of the ongoing "Central Educational Development Project" which the foundation and the group have undertaken for the past six years.
