» The committee set up to harass Thaksin Shinawatra et al after the April court verdict on his assets ruled that the company formerly known as Shin Satellite must launch another satellite to replace the moribund Thaicom 3, or else; Sue Lo-uthai, head of the committee probing possible soft spots of the concession agreement with Thaicom, now a Shingapore company, said that when Thaicom 3 went dead prematurely, the company had to launch another satellite or be in violation of the government-granted monopoly; Mr Sue said the launch of iPSTAR didn't count; Arak Chonlatanon, the CEO of Thaicom, said Mr Sue was "absolutely" wrong but he was willing to compromise.
