» Surat Thani-born Prawit "Wit" Lumjalurn is having his fourth solo exhibition titled "Happy Syndrome" at Number 1 Gallery. The award-winning artist, who started doodling since he was a Prathom pupil, is known for his signature character whom he refers to as dek auan or Fat Boy. The boy whose skin is made of foil is based on Prawit himself. He tells us what lies beneath the metallic skin.

» Briton Graeme Heckels, 37, is the group director of finance at Minor Hotel Group who also has a passion for travel and street photography. “Start”, Heckel’s first exhibition, will be held at Ink & Lion Cafe on Ekamai Soi 2, from Feb 5-Mar 15. With only one year of in-the-field experience, Heckels took home Silver and Bronze recognition in Better Photography’s Photograph of the Year 2015 competition and was shortlisted in the “People” category of B+W Magazine’s Black & White Photographer of the Year awards.
