» Yesterday the Bangkok Post ran a story, ''Tongues wag over PM speech'', in which it was reported that the Foreign Ministry had sent a letter to the Wall Street Journal ''clarifying and showing disappointment'' after one of the paper's reporters criticised Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra for speaking in Thai without a translator to a group of Japanese businessmen. The letter pointed out that printed Japanese and English translations of the speech were made available. I feel the ministry's not having enough time to provide live translation of the seven-minute speech lame.
