Beyond the prevalent threat of dengue fever, skin problems like fungal infections disproportionately affect underserved communities, where poor living and working conditions increase their risk. Trinity Jantarach, a 17-year-old student at Bangkok Patana School (BPS), witnessed this issue during her volunteer work in the Khlong Toey slum. She saw firsthand the struggles of individuals dealing with ringworm, inspiring her to support these vulnerable communities.

The problem intensifies in rural areas, where healthcare facilities are sparse, and travel to the nearest hospital can take hours. In response to this critical issue, the Telemedics Club, led by 17-year-old Ty Nilvichean and Kamisra Mahavanidvong, has collaborated with Clicknic, a telemedicine company, to address the gap in healthcare access. Together, they’ve launched a bi-weekly initiative that provides free healthcare consultations and medication to underserved communities.
