» Watching the deluge in Nakhon Si Thammarat and other southern provinces of Thailand has been really distressing. Days of heavy rains have left roads inundated, hogs have been swept away on livestock farms and human casualties are rising after incessant rain triggered forest runoff from the Khao Luang mountain range, flowing into the Nakhon Si Thammarat municipal area for the first time in 30 years.

» I do not own a car. In fact, I don't even drive, so I rely totally on public transport -- buses, taxis, motorcycle taxis (if needed) and mass-transit trains -- to commute around Bangkok. I rarely use ride-hailing apps, although many of my friends find the service more convenient than regular taxis and they like the promotions.

» Watching sports is my sport. Growing up in a family with two brothers and no sisters, I became a female football enthusiast. I also like watching tennis, volleyball and sepak takraw, partly because they are sports in which Thai teams and players have achieved international fame. We are proud of them and gratefully appreciate their hard work.
