Election Made Easy

Guru, Pornchai Sereemongkonpol, Published on 22/03/2019

» The general election is this Sunday, baby! Aren't you stoked to be able to exercise your right to vote again after a five-year absence (or eight, if you take into consideration that the 2014 general election was deemed invalid by the Constitutional Court). Anywhoo, it can be overwhelming to digest all the information, campaign videos, memes, pictures of hot candidates and fake news that have flooded your Facebook newsfeed lately. Perhaps, it's best to judge our candidates based on their parties' policies and proposals, and Bangkok Poll on Sunday revealed that 97% of respondents in their latest survey will vote on Mar 24 and more than half said party policies will be the first factor when deciding which candidates to vote for.

Guru chatted with Prince about how urban farming can benefit city life, in case you may want to get out your shovels and garden forks.

» "Bangkok Car Free Day 2015" will take place on Sunday (Sep 20). To commemorate this year's car-free day, the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration encourages you to join its bike rally and street fair near Sanam Luang, using public transport to get there. But we think you can do better than that. We present the dos and don'ts to help you use (or, in some cases, brave) various forms of Bangkok transportation like a pro.

Socially Screwed

Guru, Pornchai Sereemongkonpol, Published on 09/11/2012

» Despite enabling us to stalk our exes to our heart's content, social media can also have some negative side effects. For the average person, this could come in the form of almost being run over by a car because you're too preoccupied sending cute (stupid) stickers to a friend via LINE. Not to mention all the weight that goes straight to your ass because you're surfing YouTube until the wee hours, or the horror of having your boss friend request you on Facebook.
