» Let's face it, people. We don't go out with a tape measure in our bag (next to a bottle of hand sanitiser, a pair of plastic gloves and a spare face mask) to make sure we all adhere to the recommended six feet of social distancing. Hopefully, we do the best we can in the given circumstances or find a way to protect ourselves even when we aren't sure we're six feet apart from one another. » Social media posts are sometimes newsworthy, especially those that make you say "What's he/she on?" -- or just blurt out a good old "WTF". However, we need not worry about anyone copying our Songkran since we have many elements that are so inimitable that no other country would be able to (or want to) recreate them. In honour of the upcoming Thai New Year, we present you with all the things that make Songkran uniquely Thai.

» Work can be a pain in the ass (well, provided you actually have to work for a living). Not only do we have to wake up at an ungodly hour every morning, we're expected to put on pants, brave traffic and/or smelly commuters, suck up to the boss, deal with other people, and actually get stuff done on a daily basis. And on top of all that... we're expected to maintain an air of professionalism the whole way through!

» Despite enabling us to stalk our exes to our heart's content, social media can also have some negative side effects. For the average person, this could come in the form of almost being run over by a car because you're too preoccupied sending cute (stupid) stickers to a friend via LINE. Not to mention all the weight that goes straight to your ass because you're surfing YouTube until the wee hours, or the horror of having your boss friend request you on Facebook.
