In a short promo video, nine-time Grammy- and Academy Award-winning recording artist John Legend, with his half-Thai, half-Norwegian wife, Chrissy Teigen, greeted Thai fans with a cheery "Sawasdee".

» 1. Another Italian talent is dropping by Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit's The Living Room to wow audiences with his world-class Jazz. For only one night, on Oct 19, Nicola Tariello Quintet will be performing three sets from his "Sotto Le Stelle Del Jazz" -- "Under The Stars Of Jazz" -- project, an evocative interpretation of Paolo Conte's work under the same name. Tariello, a renowned trumpet player, will be exploring jazz from the 1920s all the way to his very own original arrangements. The Nicola Tariello Quintet will play three 45-minute sets at 9pm, 10pm and 11pm. An entertainment fee of 300 baht will be applied, except to guests spending at least 1,000 baht per person at any of Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit's dining venues.

» 1. Every year, Swedish home-furnishing giant Ikea launches a "Good Cause" campaign in order to help those less fortunate. From now until Dec 24, they've launched their Let's Play Campaign -- donating €1 for every soft toy, children's toy, book and selected play furniture sold to some of the world's poorest communities to support development and learning, equal participation and programmes that encourage children to learn through play. Participating in this campaign is Ikea's latest soft toy collection, SAGOSKATT, featuring 10 funny and whimsical plush dolls designed by 10 children who entered Ikea's global soft toy drawing competition. One of the dolls, The Red Monster, was designed by six-year-old Thai Chutirada Sujareerat.
