Bitkub Exchange Honoured by SEC for Educational Impact

» Bitkub Online Company Limited, the provider of digital asset trading centre services known as Bitkub Exchange, received an honorary certificate from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on 22 April 2024. This recognition was for their participation in the "Thai Capital Market, Sharing Knowledge Initiative with the People" project, Phase 1, which ran from July 2023 to March 2024. The initiative aimed to enhance financial literacy among Thai investors and the public, helping them to manage their finances efficiently, increase investment opportunities, maintain sustainable financial health, and understand various investment risks and measures to prevent fraud.

» The Global Compact Network Thailand (GCNT), in collaboration with the Rights and Liberties Protection Department, Ministry of Justice, the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), held the 6th National Dialogue on Business and Human Rights on the theme “Strengthening access to remedial mechanisms and complaints handling for migrant workers in Thailand”, which is one of the key elements of the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs). The Dialogue served as a forum for exchanging knowledge and enhancing access to effective remedial mechanisms and complaints handling of Thai companies.

» Forum for World Education (FWE) in collaboration with Charoen Pokphand Group (CP Group) held a summit, "Forum for World Education 2022" for leaders in education in public and private sectors around the world, under the theme “Shaping the Future of Education to Match Global Economic Trends” on 1-2 December 2022 at C.P. Leadership Institute, Pak Chong District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province, Thailand. More than 400 education professionals from different countries collaborated with international business leaders concerned with human development and education to come up with a model for education that will serve both the requirements of the future and businesses all over the world. Discussions at the forum covered a variety of topics, including "Strategies for Shaping the Future of Education in Line with Global Economic Trends" and "Educational Transformation & Human Capital Readiness to The World 5.0." with the goal of transforming education and constructing a strong human resource base for the future global economy in the 5.0 era.

» The IP Key South-East Asia (SEA) project, funded by the European Union (EU), has recently launched the second phase of the #YourHealthIsPriceless campaign to promote consumer awareness about the dangers to the health of people and economies caused by counterfeit cosmetics and personal care products, including beauty products like skincare and face injections. The first phase of the campaign was launched last September, providing information about the harmful effects of counterfeit pharmaceutical products, and calling for action to stop the selling, purchasing, and consumption of them.
