» Two areas in Narathiwat province were set on fire in arson attacks, where two shophouses and a department store were burned around midnight. Gun attacks and tyre burning also rocked five districts of neighbouring Pattani. There were no injuries.

» เมื่อเวลา 08.00 น. วันที่ 24 ก.พ. 61 พล.ต.ต.มนัส ศิกษมัต ผบก.ภ.จว.นราธิวาส พ.ต.อ.เจริญ ธรรมขันธ์ ผกก.สภ.เมืองนราธิวาส น.อ.เลอศักดิ์ คชนันทน์ ผบ.ฉก.นย. พ.ต.ต.ศราวุธ เกาะสมัน นักวิทยาศาสตร์ สบ.2 กองพิสูจน์หลักฐาน จ.นราธิวาส ร.ต.อ.พลวัฒน์ เทพษร รอง หน.ชุดเก็บกู้และทำลายวัตถุระเบิด กองกำกับการปฏิบัติการพิเศษตำรวจภูธร จ.นราธิวาส และเจ้าหน้าที่ที่เกี่ยวข้อง ได้ร่วมเดินทางไปตรวจสอบร้านจำหน่ายปลาสวยงาม เลขที่ 41 ถ.ระแงะมรรคา ต.บางนาค ซึ่งมีนายชูชาติ ศิลามาศ อายุ 44 ปี เป็นเจ้าของ และร้านติดกันซึ่งจำหน่ายสินค้าราคาถูก ไม่มีเลขที่ ซึ่งมีน.ส.นริมนต์ สังข์สุวรรณ อายุ 42 ปี เป็นผู้เช่า ที่เป็น 1 ใน 2 จุด ที่ถูกคนร้ายลอบก่อเหตุในช่วงคืนที่ผ่านมา จนทำให้เกิดเพลิงไหม้ได้รับความเสียหายทั้ง 2 หลัง โดยเจ้าหน้าที่ได้แยกย้ายกันหาหลักฐานในที่เกิดเหตุด้วยความยากลำบาก เนื่องจากมีซากสินค้าภายในร้านและหลังคาสังกะสี ได้ทับถมลงมา เจ้าหน้าที่ต้องใช้ความระมัดระวังในการขนย้ายซากสิ่งของต่างๆออกจากกัน และขนย้ายไปเก็บไว้ริมถนนด้านนอก เพื่อที่จะหาหลักฐานต่างๆที่คนร้ายใช้ในการก่อเหตุในครั้งนี้ ซึ่งคาดว่าต้องใช้เวลาอีกสักระยะ จึงจะสามารถสรุปได้ว่าเหตุเพลิงไหม้ในครั้งนี้ คนร้ายได้ลอบแฝงตัวนำวัตถุระเบิดหรือสิ่งอื่นใดที่เอื้อต่อการเกิดเพลิงไหม้ปะปนแฝงตัวกับประชาชนที่เป็นลูกค้า ไปแอบไว้ในร้านก่อนที่เจ้าของร้านจะปิดกิจการ แล้วได้เกิดเพลิงไหม้ขึ้นในเวลาต่อมา แต่ที่แน่ชัดคือจุดเพลิงไหม้เกิดจากร้านจำหน่ายสินค้าราคาถูก แล้วได้ลุกลามไปยังร้านจำหน่ายปลาสวยงาม ด้าน พ.ต.อ.เจริญ ธรรมขันธ์ ผกก.สภ.เมืองนราธิวาส หลังเกิดเหตุได้สั่งเจ้าหน้าที่ทำการตรวจสอบภาพจากกล้องวงจรปิดที่ติดตั้งไว้ตามเสาไฟฟ้า จุดเกิดเหตุทั้ง 2 จุด เพื่อติดตามพฤติกรรมของกลุ่มคนร้าย ซึ่งคาดว่าอย่างน้อยน่าจะมีจำนวน 2 ชุด คือ ชุดที่ 1 ลอบก่อเหตุที่ร้านจำหน่ายสินค้าราคาถูก และชุดที่ 2 ลอบก่อเหตุที่ห้างซุปเปอร์ดีพาร์ทเม้นต์สโตร์ แต่ถึงอย่างไรก็ตามหากเจ้าหน้าที่ตรวจสอบพบหลักฐานเหตุเพลิงไหม้ที่ร้านจำหน่ายสินค้าราคาถูกเป็นที่เรียบร้อยแล้ว เจ้าหน้าที่จะเดินทางไปตรวจสอบจุดที่ 2 ที่ห้างซุปเปอร์ดีพาร์ทเม้นต์สโตร์ ต่อไป 24 กุมภาพันธ์ 2561Published caption : Officers on Rangae-Makkha Road in Narathiwat inspect a shophouse which was burnt in an arson attack on Friday night.
