The programme targets to train 2,000 personnel across 6 provinces in 2024.

Siam Piwat Launches 'THAINESS STATION' Celebrating Thai Craftsmanship

» In a collaborative effort with the Thai government and the private sector, a new initiative titled "THAINESS STATION: Thai Products Unify Thai Communities" aims to spotlight Thai products from local communities. This campaign will showcase and sell a variety of Thai handicrafts including "Pha Khao Ma" or Thai loincloth, basketry from "Kra Jood" or bulrush, indigo dye fabric, and other artisanal creations. These items will be introduced to both locals and tourists at the Absolute Siam Store, managed by Thailand’s premier property and retail developer, Siam Piwat. The store is renowned for its innovative fashion, lifestyle, and Thai souvenir offerings. This initiative underscores Absolute Siam’s dedication to supporting Thai creative designs and handicrafts, contributing to the income of local communities in line with the government's agenda. Three new Absolute Siam pop-up shops under the "THAINESS STATION: Thai Products Unify Thai Communities" theme are now open at Siam Paragon (M Floor), Siam Center (G Floor), and ICONSIAM (1st Floor), until April 30, 2024.

Huawei and Nakhon Si Thammarat Partner to Upskill Thailand's Digital Workforce

» Huawei Technologies (Thailand) Co., Ltd. on November 22, 2023 announced its partnership with Nakhon Si Thammarat Province and the National Cybersecurity Agency (NCSA) under the ‘Digital Bus for Remote Areas’ project, which will run from 21 – 24 November 2023. The Digital Bus is one of Huawei’s flagship projects that the company has continuously driven for the last two consecutive years to elevate social equity in digital education across remote areas of Thailand. For this year, the aim is to provide digital literacy, cybersecurity, and clean energy in Digital Bus to 3,000 students at Khanompittaya School in Tambon Khanom, Amphoe Khanom, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. Huawei also aims to use the project to expose younger generations to clean energy solutions and environmental care.
