A new spin to the world of Pokémon

Life, Komsan John Jandamit, Published on 23/02/2022

» I am not sure if there is anyone in this world who does not know what Pokémon is. In case you're one of them, Pokémon is a game about you, the main protagonist, catching monsters and making friends with them while also using them to fight and traverse the game world to become the strongest trainer. Typically, games will have you defeat six to eight gym leaders, who act as bosses of each town, before beating the last boss to prove your supremacy. But this time, in 2022, there are no gyms, because this latest game is a prequel to all others and no gyms have been established, and the game's townspeople still have very little knowledge about these mysterious monsters.

Chip shortage over by 2023... maybe

Life, James Hein, Published on 29/09/2021

New plants will be coming online by the end of 2022. The maybe part here is the potential shortage of raw materials needed in the fabrication process. This could be a problem by 2023, or perhaps we may have new manufacturing process by then. Fingers crossed that all is good by the end of next year.

Mind games

Guru, Eric E Surbano, Published on 11/12/2020

» Existential questions like "Who am I really?" and "What's my purpose here in this world?" aren't really questions you'd think would be asked by a Call Of Duty game, yet surprisingly, Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War does address that in a sort of mind-bending way. Oh, and you also get to jump into shoot-em-up game modes with other players that make you realise just how much of a noob you are but hey, that's Call Of Duty for you.

Brutality at its finest

Guru, Eric E Surbano, Published on 29/11/2019

» Call Of Duty hasn't been MIA. Its latest title, Black Ops IIII (yes, that's how it's stylised so don't give me grief) just came out last year, but the general consensus is that the game has lost its gritty realism and traded it for near sci-fi elements. Well, the developers have heard everyone's cries because with Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare, the game goes back to its roots.
