» A major global energy forum has taken centre stage in Bangkok, spotlighting Thailand’s strengthened commitment to a carbon-neutral future. MEA sends volunteer convoy to restore southern power

» A major relief effort is now under way to help flood-affected communities in the South, as the Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA) mobilises volunteer technicians to restore power systems and ensure public safety. The initiative was formally launched on 4 December 2025, when Deputy Governor Mr Pisanu Tantitavorn presided over a send-off ceremony at MEA’s Klong Toey headquarters, joined by senior executives and staff who came together to encourage the mission team before their departure.
