Foreign tourist spending in Japan to set new record

» TOKYO — Foreign travellers spent an estimated around 3.5 trillion yen (1,090 billion baht) in Japan last year, the tourism minister said Tuesday, suggesting the figure is certain to shatter the previous high of about 2.03 trillion yen recorded in 2014.
