Nice base, a shame about the submarines

» Last weekend, it was announced that a spanking new submarine base would open at Sattahip next March. This is wonderful news and would be even more wonderful if Thailand actually had any submarines. Still, it is a step in the right direction for a navy that hasn't had an operational sub since 1951.
